I'm not having luck painting my tow assy. Thinking next I might tey Rust-Oleum.1. Part Epoxy. It proved tough in another application. Just took a week to harden.

Better paint? Primer required?

I've not towed and rust comes and paint goes, esp around where the 2" square ball adaptor goes in, but also around where no contact has been made to damage the paint. Very unsightly.

Interstate batteries are decent.... pretty sure they are JC made. If you have a Costco card, I suggest getting an Interstate there. If it dies in 24 months... you take it back, they refund your purchase price, and you buy a brand new battery with a brand new warranty.
Camber? spec at 4 degrees? =NO, Caster it is

Correct sir... I was looking at this arrow (thinking it was pointing at the camber measurement) when I typed that instead of using my brain. Thanks Manic.

The most durable spray paint is Brownells Aluma-Hyde. It wears like iron. It takes 2 weeks to cure, if you don't bake it, and tends to spatter, if you don't shake it forever, but you will not find a tougher coating in a rattle can.

I like the Rustoleum Truck Bed Coating for beds and chassis, hitches etc... not the rubberized or the undercoating but the Truck Bed Coating specifically. Prepped with alcohol, scuffed it up good and it looks the same as day one 5 years later. My bed hasn't peeled or even scuffed must at all in 5 years and I have a slide in camper. I did the walls of my bed with the Truck Bed Coating but did the center section with roll on Duraliner, that way I can touch it up any time it gets gouged. Also, even though Cali trucks never rust, and I mean I didn't even have surface rust on my frame where it's essentially bare metal at 20 years... but the frame and chassis on my 99 is fully undercoated now, and gets a touch-up the beginning of every winter.

Okay, I'm just ranting now...

CO? I didn't prime before my single Rust-Oleum 1-part Epoxy experience. What about Brownells Aluma-Hyde? (I assume I'll find it in Amazon.)

I'm in the San Bruno (Mtn).Gap, 2.2 mi east of a constant onshore breeze. I get some minor amounts of sal****er. The SFO uses it for lift. Salt water as a compound word, seems to be a cuss word, today. I fixed it 3x.
