Thinking v2
The beauty of the electric fan is it makes no difference why it's hot - when it gets hot, you get more fan until it's less hot. They are almost universally mounted on the engine side in a "puller" config. Putting them on the front (pusher) side is good for fan motor longevity (less heat), but bad for engine cooling efficiency, because the fan blocks the radiator. Pushers are usually only used in A/C auxiliary apps.
Noticed that 2012ish trucks had a very similar dimensions.
Got one for a 2010 in a junkyard.
That thing draw 70 amps per fan to start, 15 amps run at full speed. Couldn't find a controller except the Ford one, which needed computer guidance. It was a PWM type controller which limits inrush current.
snip
Worked perfect so far. so far being ~9 years.
It cost ~150 then, Would be over 300 now.
My AC is good even at idle, that's a big thing this time of year.
Never overheated even on a 100F+ day in stopped traffic.

Overthinking this. We used a sidewalk for decades. This is no motorbike cylinder/head. Go to Home Depot and borrow a 2ft level. Lay it on a paver or cinder block. See if it'snot adequate. These pads are small and semi-float. Maybe switch driver's & passenger's. Bingo bango. Maybe for ceramic you'll want carpet tape and a sheet of sandpaper. Mind the dust and that you hose it to the fishies. Or lay your bastard file down and rub the pad on it. They are brittle. Put a towel under them as the sidewalk will seem like rolling hills, to their very flat selves.
I had a very level small medium compositiin concrete block that I ended up using. So far my braking has been nice and quiet. Funny thing though the middle cut in the brake pad was completely packed full of pad material. Seemed kind of strange to me.
I think there's a pretty strong possibility that I put the heads sitting on my 351 on to Frankie instead, as well as the cam. The heads are set up great for the cam I'm using.... and I'll be near 10:1 compression on it.
Probably be closer to 8.5:1 on the 351 if I stayed that way.
