.Funny thing though the middle cut in the brake pad was completely packed full of pad material. Seemed kind of strange to me.
Yeah... That would bug me until.i asked my fellows and called the brake pad guys. Never saw that happen. Any y'all???
EDIT: Any miniscule leak? Trips through odd puddles on the job? Oil sprayed roads?
OK.... I need to make sure I'm thinking somewhat straight here. Last night, I was using my "bubble" tool to check camber. It's a cool tool, but I'm not so sure just how accurate it is, as the center piece (rectangular piece in the center) is adjustable.
I'm kinda sorta thinking this might be a more gooder option for this. Am I wonky in my thought process?

I have no leaks on the truck but I have been slogging through far too much mud lately for these logging site checks. That foot of rain a couple of weeks ago was no fun.
The truck needs an alignment bad, but i have no clue haha, Mavis here i come
Seems like you are clued in fine. Cars are set to pull to the right in case the driver is incapacitated. Maybe 150's, too. But generally trucks are set dead ahead, as that's more economical with fuel & tires.
I have my dad's old J.C.Whitney alignment bar. And his wheel balance bubble. Really cool, but not dynamic.
I want to set it at negative 1 to negative 2 camber. Negative 1 is fairly common, but if I can go over just a touch, it ought to help with cornering. I found a really nice illustration explaining why you like just a touch of negative camber.
For our trucks though, I am assuming 0 to negative 1 is where you'd want it.
Ron used to have access to that data (acceptable alignment calibration) but I lost that when he quit using Mitchell.
Yesterday, there was a head on collision just a few minutes after I got off the freeway exit. It was a newer Explorer that veered across and hit a Gen 10.
The lady in the Explorer, unfortunately passed. The driver of the Gen 10 was life flighted - I assume to the U of U Hospital. The Gen 10 also burst into flames.
EDIT: I (USED TO) hate Daylight Driving Lights. Now I run with lights and fogs, always, and use 4-ways backing up. People are driving, NUTS!!!
And I hate hats, but been looking at these. Suma you may want them for hail running from the truck to the house, but while we cannot wear a helmet driving, these might add that edge and be subtle.
