You mean SOME CV axles. Cheap *** castle crap nuts. The Motorcraft axles I purchased came with Ford nuts, the good ones w/tension washers. That's why I was surprised to see they wern't on there of packaged separately.

I recall comparing the old and new nuts whene they arrived, the tension washers or flanges were still cupped the same. So I don't think they wear much, good nuts, that's a given lol.

Regardless, doesn't matter, old ones should be fine.

Good luck Ohio....nice find, you suck lol. I paid twice that for mine.

It is definitely fixable and i intend to do just that. Looks like I'll need new marker lights, grill surround, grill insert, bumper, valance, and fogs. I think I can reuse my bumper pad but I will check it all out tomorrow and go from there.

Everyone was fine and no airbags went off. I had to pull the bumper off in the Home Depot parking lot and drove it on home.
Man that stinks... good to hear your teeth are still in the right spot...that can get pricey.

Yea, you'll get it back the way it was or close enough I'm sure.

JP, good thing you don't have one of those cheapo plastic bumpers they are using now. Couldn't believe it when my FIL hit a trailer hitch and it went right through his bumper on his Chevy. SMH.

JP: Glad to hear the only injured party was the truck.

Dang that sucks you were so close to missing him completely but at least you're alright and the truck can be easily fixed!

Do what you want, I replace those in pairs and would put the side not making noise on the shelf....personally.

Thank you for all the worry guys. I will start putting it back together tomorrow if the local yard has what I need. I think I realize why I don't do traffic when I can help it. Lol

White, who ever went through all that trouble for the display did an awesome job.
