My Buddy got his ham radio license back in HS.... so around 1992, before we had these cell phone contraptions. I remember being in electronics class, and he brought his Kenwood handheld, and called his Mom from class.
Yep. Autopatch. I've been told it's still around on some repeaters, but it's not used much any more (for obvious reasons). Back in the day, though, it was pretty handy. We used a poor-man's CB version where someone with a base station and a speakerphone would be a manual phone-patcher for a guy in his car. (It also worked the other way, where someone who had moved out of state could call and be able to talk to the local gang on air.)
Hmmmm.... When the truck is no longer a DD, Lightning swap, Coyote, or V10?

Man that Coyote swap is lots of work. Cool as hell. First one I've seen attempted in a gen 10. Patrick is most definitely the man for the job. Much more to it vs an L or V10 swap.
Cool! Just got a text that my harmonic balancer should arrive today! Clutch and flywheel will be here tomorrow or Friday. I ordered the correct pickup tube yesterday too.
Since the two main canyons aren't too far from being closed for winter, I took a little ride up one last night. In the top pic, you can see it was snowing like crazy..... so much that you can barely see the mountain range outline. Really thought I'd wake up to sleet or snow, but it was just warm enough to remain rain. It is REALLY coming down. Might have white stuff on the ground soon.
Well I think im going to pop my "block" cherry. I survived thru greenie but I'm going to block skylar. I can't stand that kid. I hope he finally sells that pos so we can be done with him.
