LOL, that's a damn good eye if you can see 1/16 through a pic! I'm happy about it.... think they'll make decent power. Now I gotta get a good cam.

I saw a cam that Isky had that was a couple stages over a RV type set up It had an 1800-4500 power curve, so that for an auto it stayed in the power range that is best. The numbers on it were quite impressive with aluminum heads.

Lil Red is home tonight. New timing chains. guides and tensioners. I also had the water and oil pumps changed while in there. Damn thing runs good again. Now in the spring I'll fix that one damn exhaust bolt that is broken. I have a full set of studs/nuts for that very job. I guess I'll throw on the chrome shorties while I do that. I got a set from a friend for 40. Never installed for a GEN 10. He wrecked his, and now has a GEN 12, in blue with the chrome package. Nice for him, great for me. lol

Good thing you went over to observe that dingbat that was attempting to time your motor....

I'm thinking one of the top 2 cams on this chart.... Trying to get one from a guy on the Corral right now, but I'm 2nd in line for it.

I have to ask. Why the hell are you posting 5.0 cams? Aren't you doing the 58

Don't know if any of you follow the FB page "Mechanic and Car Memes", but this has had my laughing my butt off all day. This dude ran over some painted lines and got it all over his Mercedes.... he took a pic of it asking for help, and instead it's blown up into everyone making fun of the reflection of the guy on the car. Damn funny!

They use the same cam for the roller 5.8 - same firing order, cam bearings, everything. This is part of why I wanted a roller block - familiarity.

In fact the cam in this 351 right now is the same cam that came in the 5.0 Explorer - F4TE.

Just now did.... thank you for watching out for that. I am doing EFI though. The intake I posted a few back is the lower (Lightning GT40) intake I am using with my current Down Ford upper on my 302. It will flow DAMN good! Keeping the 65mm throttle body..... I've seen guys do 390-450 horse with a 65.

THANK YOU 2100!

EDIT: This is the intake I am using.... just sitting on it. Needs to be blasted!
