Yeah I checked and so far my local sears are still being stingy with their prices lol. I like my dads craftsman but his was built a long time ago. Heard hit and miss things about craftsman as of late so I'd definitely want to see it in person first.

Yeah I have their 3ton low profile jack and 3ton jack stands. I am usually pretty picky about what I pick up from there but they do have some good stuff. I always make sure I have the free led coupon with me; the little roundish rectangle blue led lights... they are great to have everywhere. Nightstand, glove box, tool box etc.

I think I decided on going with the 41" masterforce from Menards. I am really kinda digging the gunmetal gray with green highlights but ultimately I believe I'm going with the blue. May pick up a US general cart tho for rolling around

So Masterforce was Menards then. Yea, built just as good as the US Generals. I have 2 of the heavy as hell Floor jacks from HF lol. First one I found on the shoulder of the road, second one, purchased about 8 years back. I have a couple SS carts, would rather have the US G carts (more drawers). But they are very nice, great reviews from what I recall. I don't have any use for 3T stands, but have the HF 6T stands...very nice!

You did great, good stuff at great prices...got your moneys worth and then some.

BTW- I think it was on Garage journal were they compared the Menards boxes to the US G boxes and they rated the same.

Yeah... it's a kit that is supposed to be for these that didn't get the fog option.... it doesn't fit as well as I'd like. But I made it work. Had to trim the bumper cover a about 3mm where the locks for the bezels go. Not my idea of a "plug and play" kit. LOL.

I don't have a Menards here... never even heard of it.

I've been looking at the Milwaukee boxes, and those are pretty nice. Pricey though. Some of the Husky and Kobalt boxes are pretty nice as well.

FWIW, I have 2 Craftsman boxes, 1 Westward, and 1 US General. I'd rate the Craftsmans and the US General the same - and the Westward is just a POS my Brother gave me because it broke on him. I just tack welded a couple places back together, and it's been OK. I put the stuff I use the least in it though, because it's just not as well made.

My Dad has an old Kennedy chest he keeps threatening to give to me.... but it's always got his tools in it, LOL.

They are a big box store like Lowes and HD but different in a way. They use a lot of other suppliers vs Lowes/HD. More of a variety in some departments, perhaps less in others. A cool store, you would like it white.

Yea, the old and newer Kennedy is nice. My grandfather had a nice one, well, uncle has it now..dibs lol!

Good God, Menards carries a shiii-ton of boxes/chests now...certainly stepped that up. Yea , I just checked that out lol.

If you're by the store hop in and see the gunmetal/green in person... definitely almost pulled me away from my beloved blue lol it's definitely sharp looking
