Yeah... I deal with the "Utah Brigade" every morning, which tries to create a road block on I-80 with 2 vehicles going the same speed, side by side. Then I am the butt hole if I flash them with the brights to move over. There is no concept of "move over" in this state.... even though the state has conveniently posted signs that say "slower traffic stay right" on the interstate.

Mornings like that, I wish I was driving my truck. Those high beams garner more attention than the little Yaris.

Whitey..In that yaris, you are like a Chihuahua barking at a Pointer. lol

JB...doesn't your new trailer come with a full forced air heat system. You can always do the fan upgrade that pushes more air. Are you using the ceiling vent fans to push the air down like in our homes? Isn't your AC system a heat system also? Just wondering, because I ran an RV service/parts center for 2 years, then went back to cars/trucks.

Drill....if you thnk it's cold in Utah, then AK would frost your ....s. LOL Hope you are enjoying your vacation before you have to go back to the salt mines and slave hours. lol

Bear.....Any flare ups on your knee now that the weather is changing for the cooler?

Also y’all got some d!ckhead drivers lol ... I thought the east coast was bad but geez. You have a lane that opens up for a Michigan left but it’s dang near a football field long so I’m not sure to get over the second the lane opens but I’ll be damned if 30 cars don’t floor it to hurry up and wait at the red light and not letting anyone else over. And the weaving/cutting people off when you’ve got 4lanes is just crazy. Never seen so many almost accidents on a single mile stretch of road.... and you could have half as many stoplights on those 20mile Long roads if you just turned left like normal people lololol
Location location location...Yea, I couldn't stand it where you must be lol. You don't have to go that far to get away from all that...it is crazy near motown. Never liked it, never have to go there...thank the Lord lol.

Yeah we are working in/around chesterfield/Oakland/Rochester area... basically the suburbs of Detroit... we are avoiding the main city for the most part lol, we are staying closer to the bay.

And yeah we didn’t have these issues in most of the other cities we’ve worked in Michigan.

Yes and no, the ONLY downfall in the trailer is the windows. I had the heat turned down to 55 because no one was using it. We planned to so I didn't shut down or winterize.

Other than that, this one has R40 ceilings and front cap around the bedroom, R30 floors, R7.5 in the walls. Windows are terrible though so we're going to install a reflectix sandwich in each one. Hunting down some channel board right now to create an air space between reflective layers. This one also has apposing slide outs and there's leaks around the slideouts. Not sure what I'm going to use there. Thinking about using that foam that wraps around pipes to seal a 1.5" gap around the slide-outs. The air space in the center of the foam would increase R value..need that air space. It's the only way too get any R value. Yea it's just the windows, I mean how much R value does a single piece of glass have in the dark ? Might as well be a hole there lol.

I don't think my air conditioners have heat pumps, huh, I'll check though. If they do, that would take some power to run. Cheaper just to use the furnace, - yea this one has an upgraded forced air furnace, fan has 3 settings. Most of the heat is duct to the basement, but there's one or two small ducts in each room. I ungraded the propane supply from 20 lbs to 80 lbs, it hasen't ran out yet and it's been awhile.

It's just the windows, I can feel the cold blowing like breeze right through them lol.

2100....I just went back 5 pages and didn't see any question from you to me, so if you did, I missed it totally. My bad, I guess. Sorry

Brew...Windows are always a hit or miss on trailers/motorhomes. Hehr was by far the best a while back but I don't even know who's mfgring now, other than them. With the inner ring holder being where most of the air comes in, being the worst area. We used to use a clear Permatex silicone to seal them up before delivery. That brand works the best, as it has flex room for moving around, as these coaches tend to do. Did you ever post any pics of your unit. What did you do on the propane, dump the 2 10# and go to twin 40's? Do they fit under the tank covers?

Ya for sure. One of the other drillers here actually totaled his company pickup the other night. 2 cars couldn’t make up their minds and dead stopped on a moving highway. He smashed a Subaru.

It’s not so bad right now, I’m actually excited for winter since I’ve been in the desert for so long.

Also, I’m not on vacation, we’re doing Geothermal drilling at a new fire station. I’ve actually been out working for 2 months now. Been in 6 different states and not heading home till roughly dec 20th. I do have my wife, little girl and truck out here with me which is nice. Can’t beat a home cooked meal on the road.

Lol no worries, just jokin around. I suppose it wasn’t a clear question anyway since I just typed ak instead of akdoggie.
Anyway just trying out some of your beer here in good ol Michigan. The amber is pretty good, still to try the other two. (I don’t think devil dog is the Alaskan brand but it’s in the try pile lol)
