Thinking
Well today wasn't a very good day. My ex's daughter was killed in a car crash last night. They pulled out in front of a loaded semi in a Chevy Spark. Needless to say, it was instantaneous. I told myself that I would never speak to her again, but this was a day to put aside our differences, and talk. I hate to see anyone go like that.
We've got sunshine today, so after all the phone calls and stuff, I decided to go outside and work on Red. I went ahead and added 250# on the tailgate to set it like my boat on the bumper. That gave me 23.5 inches on the rear axle for center of hub to bottom of fender.
Left front wheel is in a small depression in the asphalt, The second picture shows it leaning a bit to the left (the hole). I didn't see it when I parked, but did when I tried to take photos. lol
My fronts were set at 22 inches. When I got under and looked, the T keys were set very low. I called the shop where i had the transmission replaced and they said that they always turn them down when removing the transmission in 4x4's. It makes it easier.
He told me to set them where I want them, and bring it back and he'll set the alignment for me. I like that. lol
So anyways, I have it set at 24 rear unloaded, 23.5 with 250#. The fronts are now at 23.25 inches (both tires need some air). This is give me a 1/4 front lean with the boat on and less than 3/4 with no load. I don't think it looks bad this way. It would look just a tad better if I put some air in the front tires. Damn kids around here.

12 miles to the bucket of tree buds. Doesn't matter what's in front of it. It goes through just about anything lol.
I didn't take that pic Bear. It was on my FB page by one of my friends, so I thought I'd share. Did you hear of the record sized Bull that was just taken about 2 weeks ago? The rack was wider than I am tall. Big big bull.

Got her home last Monday, - well we dropped it off at my daughters house, been playing with it a little. Had a hard time leaving the dealership. The trailer brake ground was sheared, in turn blew the brake controller. So two problems right off the bat lol. They replaced the brake controller on the truck free, fixed the ground and oh yes, they had to move the propane tanks forward on the frame to accommodate the load leveler/anti sway bars.
That thing is too heavy for a 1/2 ton. I can move it around on soft ground in low, but barley move it in high. That's soft ground though (been moving it around on the property)...not so bad on a solid surface.
Man they're always working on the roads in Ohio. Some areas narrow right up fairly tight lol. As soon as you cross the boarder to MI the roads turn to shi... At least Ohio ha a plan.

BTW- the trip was a blast. My brother, step father and I picked it up. The dealership, even though we were there for quite some time was a good time as well. Good guys, down to earth and pleasant to be around. All of us were in the shop working through the problems that came up...it was sort of homey if you know what I mean. Guess I didn't expect that from such a big dealership or experienced that sort of atmosphere from one in the past. It was fun.

Looks great! With that short WB, that 1/2" dif looks a little more than. You really made that one look nice, along with all the updates. It's most likley fun to drive at this point.
