I hope not, but at least I have one on the shelf.

Oh, did you post a good source for alt rebuild kits awhile back? One of mine needs it (end play on the shaft) and this one might if its making the noise. (Also might need a regulator as this one is running at 14.4V.)

I put the stethoscope on that Brew, and don't think that's it. Will be retesting, tho.

I'm having a hell of a time finding an accurate air pressure gauge. I've returned 3 so far. The worst was off by 6psi on a 37psi msmt.

Ohio, I had to test the 6two a bunch of times with 1/4" extensions for a steth.... my noise was intermittent. Finally caught it and positioned the scope just right....it was difficult to do. Once accomplished, that was it alright.

When it was the WP on the 98 5four. I didn't have to remove the belt, - rather, tested wobble with force and sure enough it moved.

I need one of these, too. What I'm actually hunting, though, is a bottom mount dial gauge. I'm building a 4-tire inflation system.

Then you want a gauge with a your optimum pressure numbers to range directly in the center or middle.
