Yep, for a long time, now. If I remember correctly a holding company bought them both and merged them. I would assume they kept the lines separate.

That's something to be proud of, Brew! Great memories for you as well.

Correct! Yes, Japan Victor Co. bought Kenwood... I'd guess 10-12 years ago.

Ever think about getting rid of the neighbors? Or just getting away from them?

I bet you do.

Love my Kenwood (a nice one with 4) 5-volt pre outs)
I have 3 amps in my van and sub box, 12 speakers total
Thanks for the advice about spider glue traps
Forgot that JVC was Japan Victor Company
Like the old Jatco transmissions Ford used
Chicken Little is at it again around here
Where is the Yuge storm, and all the wind they promised?

The storm looks like late tonight/early tomorrow according to the alert here...

Interestingly enough, Tooele has not had an alert issued. I'm hoping that stands. I don't want to clean up more trees.

Truth be told, although these guys are really strange hermit types, they don't make a bunch of noise and ruckus as a result. Much better than my house over in Magna (Salt Lake). We hooked him up with some old OBS that my FIL had used in chicken coops, LOL. Yes, it was splattered with chicken dingus on his side.
