Yep, for a long time, now. If I remember correctly a holding company bought them both and merged them. I would assume they kept the lines separate.

It was pretty windy here yesterday. Filled up another garbage can with S4!T from my neighbors yard and trees. And it also started snowing when I was over getting gas tonight. Big ol' flakes too!

Correct! Yes, Japan Victor Co. bought Kenwood... I'd guess 10-12 years ago.

Interestingly enough, Tooele has not had an alert issued. I'm hoping that stands. I don't want to clean up more trees.

Truth be told, although these guys are really strange hermit types, they don't make a bunch of noise and ruckus as a result. Much better than my house over in Magna (Salt Lake). We hooked him up with some old OBS that my FIL had used in chicken coops, LOL. Yes, it was splattered with chicken dingus on his side.
