Thinking
Thanks for checking in. I went to bed early last night.... took a chug off the NyQuil to help me sleep. I've been up since 3am. I feel like crap. Still made it in to work.... I was about 20 minutes late. Got a bad case of the dragonazz... errrr. draggin' azz.
Would you want your other half, helping you, without first you explaining how? I'm all for helping out, but would this have happened to her? Check with the specialist until you get certified before jumping into HAZMAT jobs. 😏🤣 Used to lose 3 women a year from adding bleach and ammonia to a wash at the same time. 😱😵 Chems is serious stuff. You have masks, (w right chem filters,) or ventilation, or do your cardio and practice holding your breath. They say geniuses are usually just good at one thing. And not a one of them ever read labels. My sympathies. I probably did something similar(ly dumb) once. Some never get a 2nd chance, like us. We get complacent. We gotta not.
It's alive.....
No fuel leaks either.
I was contemplating hooking the truck and a tow strap to the car just in case it caught fire.
Can't drive it out of the garage with no axle in it, so I figured in an emergency I could just jump in the truck and floor it and drag it out.
But I put gas in it last night and there was no smell this morning.
Then I flushed the lines into a 1-gallon jug after the regulator, only 4.5 PSI going into the carb.
Then I pressurized it a few times and checked for leaks.
All was good so I fired it up.
No fuel leaks either.

I think I would have added.the gas in the AM so I could monitor that, on a weekday. Wife started fire once and I BARELY made it 20 ft and back with the hose in hand, on FULL. Spread SO fast and so hot. One bulb in a candelabra was incandescent and did not have its hurricane on, and touched a sleeping bag that was temporarily propped up, but she had jostled it, leaving. Had I gone with her, wuda been a total loss in 5 min.
IR camera in the phone (FLIR) helped me find one lil remaining smouldering hot spot that smoke didn't help me locate. 👍👍👍 This was maybe 4 months ago.
Dragging on cement has its own issues, and some sand has spark creating quartz. Reminds me - I need to change my insurance to, "replacement value." And I need a 2-pack.of replacement small fire extinguishers, Home&Garage packs.
