That's a Beauty! I wish I had the room for a real project car again. Except the standard list of Mods, I'm keeping my MooStang stock so I can enjoy it on the road more. I have been itching for years to Build another 68-72 Nova or 68-70/94-98 Mustang again.
My wife doesn't let me talk to the neighbors anymore so people don't ask me to fix their stuff anymore.
My neighbor never brought his quads over, and I was just fine with that. I almost want to tell him to take them to another guy up the street that is always working on motorcycles. They are a lot closer to a quad than cars, LOL.
I don't even have a chain splitter. Guess I'll need to go get one if I do work on them.
I'm a little pissed this morning.
Got a Cherokee back with a warped rotor.
Checked it all out and nothing else is loose and that rotor was the same temp. as the other side.
So, I called the local O' Ripleys and they said they could turn them in the morning.
I figure since I am a night person, I would take it apart and drop them off last night.
I get up and call to see the progress on them and the Saturday employee tells me they can't turn them !
Their machine has been broken for 4 months !
The manager and another employee told me they would be done in the morning.
I will be very polite when I pick them up, and when I drop them off at the other store, I will be asking for the district managers #.
I can understand if chit breaks...... but for it to be broken for 4 months and tell me they can do it in the morning is complete BS.
Try driving 45 minutes one way into town to pick up something that you called ahead to make sure they had, only to be told, "No, we've never carried that."
