And don't forget in today's world everybody is looking for good help.
They reached out to you, how desperate are they for a tech.
Tell them you will work for a trial period before signing anything.

Kinda like a probationary 90 days till benefits thing.

You could make them sign a list of specific exclusions (family, friends, etc.) and your side gig, as a compromise. I've done a similar thing in the past.

I would make sure the youtube channel exposure is covered as well.

Default Bed Pads

My '01 came to me 5 yrs ago with what I *think* is a pad for a drop on camper, about 5/8" thk, heavy as water, form fits the bed to within an inch or so.

I want to know if it's porous. I suspect that would be a No, as IF it's for a camper, holding water would be bad. I help a mech move his small shop this weekend and it may be a plus, but I want to know I can carefully pressure wash it if it gets "soiled."

I doubt it's the same, but mine has a "BedRug" liner in it. It's basically a padded outdoor carpet material. Mine, though, goes up the sides and covers the tailgate as well. It can be washed with a pressure washer.

I finally decided to bite the bullet and get a set of Depot fogs for the '03 and a pair of yellow 9145 LED bulbs to go in them. There's no way, though, that these things are going to work with the LED chips top and bottom (perpendicular to the flutes in the reflector).

The connector comes out to the side in these housings. I wonder if most others exit downward (or upward).

I guess the good news is they came with Sylvania bulbs, so they're not cheap Chinese crap.
