👍 Me too. Apologies. Knee-jerk safety reaction & ex-contractor. One of the reasons I love these 10th Gen F150 and Thinking Forums, is that many, DO, here, thiMk. 😉 It gives me great pleasure to rub elbows here. Hat's off to alla youse.
And a co-pilot/navigator, (also can drive the ambulance or apply pressure, ha!) v wise. Helps keep stuff from being missed. But I would move the stangs, or blanket them well at least on top.

Geez... yesterday the garage door broke. This morning the furnace is giving me the business. Luckily I had a spare flame sensor on hand.Think I'll order up some more Rheem parts while I'm at it. High and low limit switches might be a good thing to have around. Already have a spare igniter. Anything else you guys would grab? I do have a spare main board (I repaired it), and a spare blower motor too.

It's supposed to snow a lot tonight... ought to be an adventurous day.

I've done it both ways, hired it done and did it myself because I had the time and the rod stock to make the tools.needed.

If it's the top spring that spans along side the header, you need to be careful replacing it, it can kill you dead.

Yep, that's the one. Mine has two. I'm going to replace both of them.... You have to unwind the other side to get the new one one, so I'm just doing both while I'm there. I ordered a "kit" that comes with the rod stock tools in the package. Also bought new cables for the ends. One of them appears to possibly have broken. It's at least tangled.

What dishwasher did you end up going with? Mine needs some attention. The silverware rack has a hole in the bottom of it.... and the wheels on the bottom rack are shot again.

Here's a vid if the door closing when the spring broke.

Calcium Carbide. Several on a spot of stamped snow, a half inch or so from each other. Warm from your pocket, melt the snow a bit. Reacting to the water, they give off a flammable gas. Light it up. Mini-instant fire. Once used in miner's head lamps.
