Knockin' stuff off the list today... got the wheel bearing done on the 2011 Escape today.... just pulled vacuum on the A/C system for the truck.
As many times as I've done Escape front wheel bearings, today was the first one that I had the wheel hub so stuck to the bearing that it brought the snap ring out with it. Somehow, the snap ring took 100% of the abuse - and the groove in the steering knuckle is fine. That is my biggest pet peeve about 1st and 2nd Gen Escape's; pressed in wheel bearings.
