Check this out AK. I asked the guy for the pieces he cut out of my main feed. This is quite obviously the problem. Sucker fell right apart in my hand after I removed the tape.

That was me. I bought a full Gibson exhaust system, new in the box. It goes under it tomorrow if the weather is up to it. lol. That and the shocks, the new brake pads, and the front hub/bearings. I figure, if I'm going to do it, I might as well do it right and only one time. That's just me.

The 04 Expy seats bolted right in without any problems. You do have to change the seat belt seat halves, to make the belts fit correctly. I changed those and everything is set up like it should be. I've included a couple pictures of the Expy's in my 98. (For anyone who wonders, YES, 04-08 F150 and Expy seats will work fine, and nothing needs changed other than your seat belt ends. Nice Direct fit).
Those look great AK! I'm really digging those.

I still have the Flowmaster to put on mine (straight through design). Would have had it done already if Ford had used a center inlet AND outlet.

Mine is the Super HP2:

White....I went thru what I have for catalogs covering 2005-6 and can not come up with that particular check valve. I show the Ford's having the standard check valve in the booster. I don't see a difference between the Anti-roll and Not. The same number comes up in the charts.

I've only seen that style only on a Mopar vehicle. I believe it was a high altitude Caravan, with the big V6. Otherwise, I've never seen that other than on a Mopar.

Do you think that maybe the mechanic (I use the term loosely) maybe subbed another part from another vehicle to make do with a quick repair? That's about all I can come up with right now. I've check most places, and always come up with the same check valve for those years. I guess it could be a later valve, but I'm not sure. I don't like working on Gen 11's or 12's, other than the radio/navigation upgrades that I do on them for people. Our engine may be way back in the compartment bay, but the 11's and 12's are in another zip code. lol

I got a part number off it last night, but it draws a blank. The part number is for a 97 though, which I thought was really odd.....

F7CC-2365-CA

This is the closest thing I can find, but it's not correct. It doesn't have a nipple to go into the booster.

Now that you have the service number, no problem. The correct part number is F7CZ-2365-CA

White....are you 100% correct on the service number? It goes to the number I gave, but that has 2 sets of lines running from it with 2 vac chambers, it looks like. Running that number, it doesn't show it fitting your Expy. 2006 shows in the parts books as a single line, common 2L1Z-2365-AA brake check valve. You have me totally confused now. The SVC # changes to the same number you listed from Tasca, and it shows that it is incorrect.

I just pulled the booster numbers for 04-06 Expy, and both are 2L1Z-2005- listed, with DA being being the Econtrol and CB being the non=EC type. Both show the 2L1Z-2365-AA common style check valve.

I guess my question is.....WTF are you working on? lol

I'm beginning to think that maybe you should pull that oddity off and put on the stock style that the Ford Catalog shows. My books don't go into 2007 and up models, so I am stuck at the 06 model year, as the last year I can access from my books. Sorry, but that is the best I can do with what I have here. I did not find it in any of the crash manuals either, other than the std valve.

I found something saying this was some piece used in a PVC system on a Lincoln LS. No damn clue how the hell this thing got on the Expedition. I decided last night to use the single piece and use vacuum tees. Bad idea. No brakes. This has had some MAJOR monkeying around done to it, and I am lost.

I really wish I could find someone in the other forum to take a pic for me.
