I've always hated buying cars. Nothing but snakes and thieves as far as the eye can see. It's worse than ever, because on top of the snakes and thieves, now everybody think their worn out ****boxes are somehow worth whatever preposterous, made-up figure they'd like to imagine.

Yep, it's an industry where the honest don't seem to last very long. A job I probably couldn't do successfully. Have to be able to lie with a smile on your face.

Although every now and then you meet someone straight up: Just making brief small talk with one particular service advisor at Ford about plasma-lined cylinder bores in the newer 5.0's, and he flat out stated that move "Was because it was cheaper, not better." Guys like that are an absolute rarity in a sea of people paid to tell you BS.
