Yep.....
It gets better.
I call the other store and the employee informs me they don't turn rotors anymore.....
They just warranty them.
This has been the norm for a while chain wide.
Why it took 4 employees to figure it out beats the heck outta me?

So I get to go and pick the rotors up and bring them home till Monday when Maxi-Automotive opens up to see if they can warranty them.
Kinda pissed already since I called them 1st to see if they could turn them, and they don't have a machine.
But they didn't offer to warranty them either?

That was interesting. Ford has a tech doing airbag recalls that the dealer hasn't done yet, going around and doing them in your driveway. Took less than 30 minutes and both sides were done. The best part is I didn't have to go to the dealership to have it done and leave it there and come back later. Sonya is all up to date now. The Edge already had the recall done.

Man, what a joke, I contacted customer service online to complain about the run around I was getting.
While she had me on hold, she called both stores.
It turns out they do turn rotors and have no idea who told me they don't.
So, I go and pick them up and drive them to the other store.
Now the customer service lady talked to the manager and Keith the guy that would be turning them to make sure they could provide service.
I get there and they have no spec for that rotor and can't turn it.

I get home and less than 3 minutes on google and I have specs.

Looks like I will be waiting till Monday and taking them to my old shop I retired from and probably turning them myself.
Unless the place I bought them from just wants to warranty them.

Yeah, I had a place tell me the same thing. There are few parts stores any more where the employees are more than clerks and actually care about the work they (are supposed to) do.

It's been a little over a year since I hasd OReilly turn rotors for me. When I called the manager told me "bring them now and I'll get 'em right on". I want to say I had them back in an hour and a half.

I'm beat... two straight days hammering this out. It's great to have it drivable again.... my registration came today too.

Looks fantastic, White! Great job!

I see what you mean about the headlights. I think a set of stockers might actually look better. I assume the scoop was in anticipation of the 351 going in? I thought you might install it the other way... Short side to the front.

I have a guy in the group that's hinting at wanting to trade for smoked lights. I might need to do some work in Photoshop and see....

And yep, there will be a 351 poking around in there next year. I've about all but decided that a Holley Sniper will be going in there.

The grey at the bottom is too light for headlights that dark.
Looks better with the clear lenses, or not so dark on the headlights.

The overall change from when you got it is very impressive! Great work.
