We'll never live that long. And that's only sales, maybe mfr for sale elsewhere. There will still be the, "I've owned in in Oregon 2 yrs and we're moving here," which, with 10,000 miles or so since you owned it, exempts you, as you did not, 😉, attempt to skirt CA import laws, (sales taxes and smog equipment.) So, half a story is sensationalistic journalism.

In other news, I would strongly advise anyone using Win10 "File History" for their backups to stop immediately and buy a retail backup program. This hot garbage completely let me down when I reinstalled Windows a couple weeks ago. Just the act of using a slightly different name for the PC was enough to throw it off course and I could not restore my files! I probably could have fought it and got it to work, but nothing of the kind is remotely acceptable in something as critical as a file backup!

PS - I did not lose any files - they were all moved to a folder called "Windows.old" as a part of the reinstall.

 

So... I have to make a video introducing myself and describing my knowledge, and submit it for one of the jobs I applied for. Again, I go down the line and check every box for their requirements, EXCEPT Mac OS experience. I hate to do it, but I really need to get an Apple. I hope that doesn't hinder things.

 

Blech, there's nothing worse than a stupid video interview.

 

I don't mind a video interview (I just had one yesterday), but *making* a video? It's not an on-air personality position (right?).
