Yes. Correct!
8.8" Rear Diff - Ford - 2000 F150 4.6 V8

White, that's a nice piece of hardware !

Have you opened it up yet to see if the gears have ground into the diff cover yet ?
I doubt they have, looks identical to OEM of a 8.8" 10th Gen F150

I made a wheel/tire fitment calculator that I thought might be of use to the board. I didn't know where best to put it, so I figured I'd start here.

Hey, heads up guys: Transfer Case Xl12 has long been phased out. Mercon LV is recommended in T cases now.
You can also use Valvoline "transfer Case Fluid" it specifically indicates for use in Ford XL12.
that's been the case for about 2-3 years now

No, it's fine. The Crown Vic has an ABS ring too.... that's really the only thing that is different with the 8.8's. When I did the pinion seal back a couple months ago, the oil still looked new.

I've been using this for the past 7 or 8 years. It works fabulous, and it's cheap.
Amazon Amazon

I ordered some "XL12" from Rock Auto, and I received LV. I don't want that in my t-case, so I used it in my Escape's 6F35.

There was a point in time that Ford said not to use LV in the 4406/4407 Borg Warner cases. Then later on they say it's OK. It was supposedly reformulated, but I am still reluctant to use it. Valvoline made the XL12, as I recall, so I might try that next year when it's due again.
