Noobs, no reason to switch if you like 10. Windows 10 is slated to be supported AT LEAST until the last quarter of 2025. IMO, that will get extended before we get there.
One of the biggest draws to Windows 11 is that it can run Android apps... or at least it will be able to. I haven't tried it yet, but that was one of the main selling points they flaunted.
Seriously? I Think you misinterpreted, I know what it is. Your insulting lol.
BTW, - only free if your system will run it. So no upgrade here, I meant something with 11 on it.
Guess I thought you could read between the lines.....now you made me edit, with on screen keyboard.. Sucks lol
LOL... OK, didn't realize you were after a new unit all together. Yeah, I've been shopping as well. Need a new laptop this year. You can make 11 run on anything if you do a clean install, BTW. It just won't update to it on some older machines. @Buck0 pointed that out to me. I have 11 running on a Gen 4 i5 right now.
As gorgeous as it is up there... I am glad to be back in the warmer temps. 60 here today.
Right, if it's going to be cold, let there be snow. The cold is no bother for me if you get that kind of scenery along with it. Thing is, here anyway, we rarely get a bunch snow. Just enough to screw up the roads.
Where you went however, Travers, - much more snow with that lake affect. Very nice up that way.

Nothing major, just something small that will run it. So at least an i5 you think....that should be cheap.
So,
Company upgraded to LED lights in our shop area a couple years ago. You get a nice rebate from Dominion Power of you do it and use one of their (union only) contractors.
Shop lights are all high bay, on hangers, with a twist lock. Super easy to install if you can operate a lift.
Now we are doing the office lights. Union contractor left our office switch like this and called it complete.
Have you ever seen such a beautiful thing?
I don't even know why we need dimmers. It's a freaking hallway at the entrance to the office.
They also couldn't seem to read the CB panel directory and just decided to turn off breakers until they found the one they needed. Lot's of yelling when they did that.
But they are professionals, their union says so.
