Closest comparison to what they sell now. Dang, that's real cheap in price for a 120, -

Not sure what this 90 amp will cost to ship ? 30/40 bucks maybe ? Iduno, I can let you know when I start boxing the other stuff up. Testing two more underground locators, writing the listings up, boxing everything up, forwarding the listings then done! Just have to drop ship.

I'll let you know during the boxing stage, - yea, wasn't selling the welder, keeping it around for someone that can use it, that I know, like yourself. So don't think I like you or any thing.

EDIT: Shoot that thing isn't that heavy jp, more like 20 to ship to SC I expect. Iduno, I let yuh know, - do the same if you decide against ehh. I'll throw it in the shed lol.
I was hoping it wasn't that one. That is the exact one I have in my shed at the moment too. Lol

I won't go getting any ideas about you liking me either. Lol

I've had a Century 70 for the past 10 years. Damn thing welds about anything. A friend had it, and moved, so I managed to grab it up. It's done 3 complete trucks, patching panels and floors, several exhausts and the list goes on. My buddy's Lincoln doesn't do the light stuff as well as this cheapy does. I use the Lincoln wire .035, and it works rather well. The other brands of wire, not so much.

Yeah, that's been my experience on the HF welder.... the only wire that works worth a damn is the Lincoln .035 wire.

Someone who knows a friend needs to stick metal together but it doesn't have to be really pretty. Lol

I need to pick up some Lincoln. 035 wire for mine and see if it gets any better.

It might be worth something to yuh if you have one tho jp. It's like new, never maxed duty cycle with it so it's still remains healthy, - not a scratch I can see, was more less a gift.
I had a good welder, so never needed it. I did play with it...no more than 15 second intervals and didnt push duty cycle. Stitch weld 10* and had a good penetration track on the back side. That little thing welds. Like white mentioned, if your just starting out, the Lincoln wire is better, but there is wire that will put it to shame. Costs as much as that machine if you e bay, twice as much if you do not. Otherwise FC wire is FC wire. Good for windy conditions or spotting (saves gas). When I read what white wrote I reflected right away to the millions who purchase a welder for the first time and wonder why they can't succeed lol. Lincoln wire is better, but it isn't going to make you better. Might think so because you got something to hold together after slamming it to the ground. It's not an easy learn and chuck any directional you might have in the trash if your after thin metal specific welding w/MIG process.
The Lincoln Handy Mig, Hobart/Miller Handler 140 and Miller Accuset. -That last is being a prima donna machine for sensitive types lol.

Centurys are good old welders AK. There's a ton of old Machines in play that will outlive us and newer that won't. Experienced guys always have those older set ups. Probably the best new welders today as far as value per dollar is the Everlasts.

My Niece, after obtaining her Popsicle stick builders license..training on a 140 handler welding the 98's MEGA fuse and Bulk head harness holder together. Filling holes in holder before Big4 upgrade actually, -

Well what do you know jp, this is when I tested that little 90amp, - in the background. The plates are on the bench next to it.

I also made a spot welder off an YouTube video, using a microwave power source. Works like a champ. Simple as hell to put together, and it can be taken apart to weld on an angle or such. I misplaced my handle I was going to use, so I have to improvise that currently. I'm also doing another for a friend in my spare time (My lady friend doesn't give me a lot of free time anymore). LOL
