Ship lap is just semi planed, horizontally mounted, sometimes painted 1x8 or x10 board used for accent walls and the like.
Huh, I've seen it, just wasn't aware it went by ship lap. I thought it might be tongue and groove at first glance, but , it has that rabbit side that goes up with that stacked look to it. Sort of like siding ehh. The building out back has that inside sort of, doesn't look like siding that much though.

Yea, I don't mind modern, it's the kind she has a taste for that I'd have to use to. Everything shiny with no straight lines. It would be different is all I guess lol. New relationship and the first HGTV channel experience together.

It's the sense of accomplishment when you step back and look at what you've done. It's easy to hire somebody to do the work. But rarely do they see the vision you have for something.

Yeh. We had a couple ppl come in and try and come up with plans and they never could quite get what we wanted in it. I need to be spending this weekend finding a dresser or two for all the foldables... but it's the last weekend of duck season. Lol

Yea, that suprised me as well, never hearing of ship lap.

Well she has this unique of getting a yes or okay out of me. Approaching me on her tippy toes ? Iduno, it's so damn cute lol. I know I'm not describing it right but it should be illegal. I was a victim twice today and probably will fall prey to it more often since she knows it works.

EDIT: Perhaps she's just arches her heels a little and kind of slides her feet quickly ? Iduno, can't describe it..maybe that's because I'm not watching her feet when this occurs. Tell me you guys know exactly what I'm talking about or I'm shutting up lol.

NM scratch that, probably shouldn't of admitted that this one has powers. No longer feels appropriate, prob should delete lol.

They all have that power. It is built into their nature. They are so so good at it too.

Yeah, I totally understand what you are saying. I'm going thru that right now. I surely haven't found the magic remedy for them. lol. One kiss, one little eye contact, and he I go doing what they want. It's almost un-manly. lol
