LOL. I've never seen a heat shield walk down the pipe like that before.

Salt will do that if it gets ice packed underneath all winter I imagine.

Oh, is that what it is? I thought it was one of those brilliant vibration dampener's that Ford randomly uses.

Looked like it had rubber inside of it.

Wow, that was nice. If I'd just heard it I would have guessed Satriani.

Eric Johnson and Satch are pretty good friends. If you haven't heard their concert together called "G3", you should check it out. It's Satriani, Eric Johnson, and Steve Vai. The album is called G3:Live in Concert. The music of Eric Johnson got me through a lot of tough times as a teen, and that song "Cliffs of Dover" in particular was my favorite. If you ever want to hear a REALLY, REALLY good album that most people have never heard of, try Eric Johnson's Ah Via Musicom. That album was released during my first year of high school. He

Not familiar with it but I will check it out. With my hearing problems I let a lot fall off about keeping up with music.

If it is , that's goofiest looking one I've seen. The dampeners I've seen are cylindrical and ride along side of the exhaust. I was thinking it was that cats (right in front of the thing) heat shield. The spot welds broke (rusted off) and it slid down the exhaust.

Could be.... it's ugly, whichever it is.

There was a pic of a brand new Chevy "Black Widow" going around the other day.... still on the dealer lot, and it was rusty. We get rust here, but I am sure happy it's not like some other states.
