The original "estimate" of COVID deaths was 600 for Utah. Today they announced the new projection is that it will be closer to 200. Now if the Governor would issue a stay at home order..... things might be even better.

I wonder if the home delivery concept will stay on after this virus thing is over? I know a lot of Amazon users who use them because of the convenience of home delivery only. It's not a price thing. Also buying close to home because of possible warranty issues might be attractive to some buyers. A lot of these places already had home delivery but for some, at a substantial cost.

I think HD makes you buy 30 dollars, then it's free shipping. I think Walmart is 35... Costco is another place I've been ordering from, and some stuff is 3 day free shipping, and some you have to spend a certain amount to get free. I would think that it is in the best interest of ALL retailers to waive those fees for the time being.

Whitey, I can't believe there are states that haven't enacted stay-at-home orders! I hate to say this, because I agree with state and local control in most cases, but maybe the fed needs to issue a decree on this one.

We don't have a HD in town but I bought a yard shed from them a couple of years ago and delivery was $75. It was about a 40 mile trip for them though. Seemed reasonable and well worth it at the time. I wasn't so much concerned about the size. It was the size and the weight. They have forklift and were able to put it on the ground where I wanted it. My back was happy to pay.

I agree but I doubt it will happen. Party politics. I did hear on the news today that most of the states in the south haven't enacted the stay at home order but because of how that may draw this out for them and because of NCAA Football starting in June, Football may bring the order about. Don't mess with their football. lol

Our Governor has been a complete numb nuts for the past few months. He tried to raise taxes about 30%, and we had a referendum that put a stop to that. I think he's still salty. Good thing is, he's out soon. I'm hoping John Huntsman gets back in. He left to be the Ambassador to China, then Ambassador to Russia between his last Governorship and now. He's a good, level headed dude that really cares about people.

Damn, this staying home is going to have an effect on my bank account if I don't stay out of the shopping sites. Today on eBay I was checking for a guy on interior parts and I came across this radio surround for only 30. It has both switches and both are tight where the screws are mounted, the guy told me. Yeah, I had to buy it.
