Squeak
So it kind of sounds like, according to this thread, that it's either the heat shields, or my transmission and no one has any advice on how to diagnose the transmission. SOOO, just drive it until something breaks? LOL
Stethoscope it with something. I'd start with the PCV assembly, just pull the valve real quick. Work down to the heat shields if you don't find it before them.
The heatshields on the upstream cats. You wrap a 7 or 8" band clamp around them (Per Ford TSB). I used a couple clamps on each. Mine were chirping like yours, like your sound but a little more drawn out. It was the worst sitting in the drive-thru line for coffee every morning. You know, with the truck in D/foot on the brake. Lookup "Ford heat shield fix". Or Ford heat shield TSB.

I guess I will check the heat shields. The only thing is the noise is not constant. It will make this squeal for about 2-4 minutes upon startup and only after the truck is warm. The longer it sits after being warm, the longer it squeals. I.E. if the truck sits for five minutes after being warm it'll squeal for ten seconds, if it sits for an hour it'll squeal for 2 minutes. If it's dead cold it wont squeal at all.
Very confusing.
I did check the PCV, it was not that.

just a wild *** guess, but the video kinda sounded like an exhaust manifold leaking to me, only more squeaky and less ticky like they usually are. is it definitely coming from under the truck or more under the hood on the backside of the engine?
