Only been pulled over 3 times and all of them were out of my hometown. and were warnings. the funniest was when i was drifting on ice. lol Were i from they have 1 cop and he knows my family very well. and he doesn't give a rats *** what i do. he would let me know if a neighboring deputy is there.

In my opinion and experience, cops who implement this type of favoritism and loyalty to people they "know", are the worst types of cops. These are the same ones who go out and scare little teenagers and get off on it, then escort their drunk buddies/co-workers home from the bar later that night.

They might be "cool" to the ones that they know but they are the total opposite to people they don't.
Small town corruption at its finest. That goes against everything a police officer should stand for.

On the other hand, I think anyone who signs up for a career of imposing their will on others is already a bit tweaked in the head to begin with.
The old "just doing their job" doesn't fly with anyone who has a brain. They selectively choose when and where to enforce laws, who to enforce them on and which ones to enforce.
Zay are imposing zeir will, selectively, on the people who figuratively sign their checks. The whole thing is crazy.
But until we replace them with machines, the element of human corruption will never go away.

Its age profiling at its finest. There's a much better chance of abusing someones rights and getting a marijuana arrest or a whatever they are looking for, when the person is young, intimidated and doesn't know their rights.
Most cops are like the food chain in the wild - they prey on the weak.
This is nothing new, it'd be even worse if your skin was colored.
It's the truth. Profiling sucks, but its here to stay.
I got pulled over a bunch of times when I was in my late teen, driving ricers. Even got quite a few completely bogus tickets. They like to assert their "authority", a lot of them get off on it.
Funny that once I started driving f150s 8 years ago, both stock, I have only been pulled over once.
I agree totally, that's why I ment the vehicles with mods are the youngsters

I guess if tweaked in the head means keeping you and your family safe, you are right then.

Yeah.. because thats all cops do - keep families safe at night.
You're right, I apologize.
Come join us in reality, it's a far scarier place than you'd want to believe.

I agree 100% on that one.... I wouldn't have got pulled over for roll stopping the stop sign if I didn't have so many lights. The cop even said so.

It's my job I do it every night. The last thing on my mind is worrying about teens with modded out cars.

like what he added on to what I was saying they are more likely to pull over a modded vehicle over a stock car. I see it all the time, since I drive a lot for work. probably 85-90% of all cars I see pulled over by state or local cops are vehicles that have mods. and I see more stock vehicles on the road than modded

Again, its not the car modifications they are worried about - thats their opening for initiating contact which leads to other things, you already know this though.
Corruption is part of the job, anytime there is an assumed authority, it can and will be abused by humans with emotions.
You are one out of almost a million police officers in the USA, there is no reason to make this personal like you have done.
You don't represent all the hundreds of thousands of cops, nor do the bad ones represent you. You are individuals, just like every other career on earth.

Modded vehicles, 100% illegal. Stock, no where near 100% of vehicles on the road illegal. That's why you prob see more of them pulled over.
