Default Problem finding a truck

Hey y'all I'm new to the Forum.I'm having a problem finding a 97-03 f150. I have a 90xj and ready for a truck. Does anyone know of a website or somewhere I can have better luck finding one. I'm down here in south Florida if that helps. Hopefully this isnt "spam" to the forum. Thanks

Alright I'll look at the dealership. I've been watching on craigslist but none that's caught my eye. I didn't think about auto trader.

It takes awhile to find one that you like. I looked for a good 4 months before I found the truck that I wanted. I probably paid a little more than I wanted to for it just because I was sick of looking for one though..

Look at craigslist, autotrader, cars.com, all the websites. Also keep your eye open when you're driving around though, a lot of smaller dealerships won't put their vehicles on the internet. I actually found my truck while I was going to the liquor store to buy beer. (Dealer was next door)

Good luck with the search. What kind of set-up are you looking for? 2wd/4wd, reg/excab/crew...

I've been looking for a couple months so far. I check buy here pay heres, pre auction dealers, Found one that looked sweet and only had 130k but the tranny was so messed up it took a good 10 seconds to get to 30. He wouldn't tell me what was wrong and didn't want me to take it to a mechanic so I said no.

I'm looking for a 2000ish no flare side extra cab 4x4 v8 preferably the bigger v8 but that wouldn't stop me from buying one. My mechanic said don't go with a v6 cause they tend to have many problems.

Ok guys I'm a little stuck. I've found 2 trucks that are potential candidates for purchase.
1. 2000 v8 xtra cab 2wd 140k miles 6500$
2. 2000 v8 extra cab 4wd 200k miles 3000$
I'm gonna go test drive them tmrw but which one would be better? The one with 200k is mostly highway miles and has been maintained at mullinax ford since purchase and this is original owner. Other one is also by original owner but they did the service themselves which is good still. Should I look for something that tends to wear out faster or any other kind of advice thanks!
