Good with that, it will feel like a new truck! And you should be back around 12 mpg city.

2002 XLT 4x2 25 gal tank averaging between 16 and 18 city and highway mixed.
2002 FX4 Lariat 4x4 25 gal tank averaging about 14 highway/city mixed. Expect it to get better after the second O2 is replaced and the oil and filter change.

Just over 300 miles and the light was on, took about 21 gallons to fill. Figured out to be 14.4 MPG mixed driving. 4.6L 4x4 extended cab.

Dang I have a 4.2 also and only get about 200 miles to a tank. How big is the ga tank on the 4.2 because the only search I've found is like 18 or 19 gallons which would mean I'm getting about 11 a gallon how is yours so high??
