See where the thermostat housing looks wet?
Awhile back jbrew said you have torque them in order and in two stages or else it will leak from the front.
Stage 1: 18in/lbs
Stage 2: 18ft/lbs
It looks impossible to get a torque wrench on the back few so just got torqued them by feel. Guessing that's my problem

Yep, see it. That's what it looks like to me too. You always want to torque from the inside out so you spread the load evenly. My engine was out when I assembled it, so it was easy. 18 ft/lbs isn't much, you may have over torqued them. Be a good time to do a body lift so you've got more room for that torque wrench. you should try torquing a 32 pipe LP manifold on a 50 ft long fryer that has about a hundred bolts holding it in place. Now we're talking fun time.
Why's that

I used to do mechanical maintenance at a chicken processing plant on the weekends. Cutting, welding & fitting stainless, building conveyers, hydraulics, chillers, etc... Now I'm the local plumber/electrician/IT/painter/drywaller/tile/HVAC for a chicken restaurant chain. Kindofa blue collar renaissance man if you will.

I just replaced the gasket. The manifold was also crack free. I think my lack of following the torquing procedure is the culprit

So you basically do everything to keep the working?
