Easily.
Cams are $500-$600 alone. Porting about the same.
SS valves, guides/retainers/heavier springs/lash adjusters/rocker arms, etc etc probably closer to $2000

Hmmm but if someone were to do it along and along it would definitely be worth it. I would love to pick up a 97-98 5.4 lower mile long block to swap some pi cammed heads onto.

I've got a truck with 185k on the well maintained motor you could swap some PI cammed heads onto.... but the motor has to stay in the truck & the truck in front of my house lmao.

That would be ideal. I wish I could just build them and not have to pay any money lol

Rebuilding and porting heads runs you about $1700

Alright guys yall got me thinking why not look at some RV cams for my 200k mile truck just to help the power curve. These are about as plug and play as it gets but what numbers can be expected?http://www.compperformancegroupstore...de=MODFCAM2VXE

A fresh motor would do more for your power curve

Yeh I know. Lol

Ideally I would like to take a reworked block, lose some dish off of the pistons, and run a xe262h from comp cams in pi heads with a port and polish job.

At 200k I know my time is running out so I figured I would start taking a serious look at a mild na engine build.
