Once we got all the pieces sorted out, it wasn't to bad. Surprised at how easy it went and only took us an 1hr 45min. Sounds so mean

Damn people make things difficult lol. Foxlake racing advertises stage 1 port jobs, but no longer does them. Stage 2 or 3 only. Doing a stage 2,wouldn't I lose torque? Should I go that route,or just build them back stock?

Stage 1 is really just cleaning up the runners and very little bowl work. I would call and talk to them and tell them what you have planned and what your goals are. If your using stock cams you wont see a big difference from porting.

Not a stock cam. I tried telling him it was just a cam, longtubes tuner and exhaust for now and he said I needed atleast a 2500 stall t/c,I'm no expert with motors, but why would I need a 2500 stall for that little hp?

You need a stall for the cams. The idle and trying to tune it with a stock converter will kill drivablility. The stock converter is too tight. I have cams also . With stock converter the truck drove like crap and low speed drivability was very poor. Cammed= Looser converter.

What cams?

Lol thanks man. I honestly didn't even know that was there. I'll have to sub to it so I can get back to it again when I might need it again.

What's the difference between the Motorcraft sp459 plugs and the Motorcraft sp479 plugs? Besides the part number. Like what major difference is there? Which is better?
