I'm thinking I'll leave around 6am on the October 8th..make the most out of the trip since I have a day's drive. And I'm going the leave the 12th. I don't know what days everyone else was planning on but just letting you guys know what I'm doing. Gives me three good days of drinking beer, fishing, and whatever else.
Sounds great to me. I'll get off early on Thursday to meet you when you get close. Also taking Friday off and maybe a late start on Monday. I'm thinking Saturday will be the best day for fishing. Really looking forward to this. Can't wait to meet you guys.

So my trucks steering has felt a little light while driving at speed lately, and I was wondering what might be causing this? At lower speeds it feels normal, but at higher speed (above 30 mph) the steering feels like it turns a lot lighter. I don't know if something's loose or worn or something or what. Any help would be appreciated.

And when I say lighter, I mean as in when you're turning the steering wheel it feels more like it's just kinda there as apposed to being connected to something. I'm not saying it feels weightless to turn, it still takes some force to turn it but it feels like it's a lot less than usual.
Dunno man. I don't do a lot of turning at highway speeds in mine. Unless you loose power steering at low speeds I wouldn't worry about it.

Alright. And I wouldn't consider it highway speeds since the roads I travel on I'm going 30-45 mph on

That's pretty close to where I'll be

What pump did you use that worked with your NA fuel hat?

The Walbro I bought was a GSS340 21209 - 1

Probably not, just saying by that time, I'll be in KY. Attempting to maybe beg for a Sat/Sun off since it's "only" be a 9hr drive for me.

F!! The pump I bought won't work with my NA hat

Is the pump the Walbro gss 342? And did you use the 400-1048 install kit?

342 are the typical ones and the ones i used.

Just use a pigtail and run the wires out if the hat. Super simple.

An L pigtail that should plug in to the pump. And run it out of the hat and chop it into the factory harness?
