Hope evreyone's trucks are running good. I'm all tied up in my GM haha.

Truck hated the -4 degree weather but still drove around like a champ.

Interesting question. Any special precautions to take for a winter setup with these swaps?
Minus using winter mix in the intercooler..

Yep. You need more boost! LOL. The colder more dense air is more stable for combustion purposes. A slight tune change would also be beneficial. But overall it's ok as it sits. I don't know of any particular precautions necessary for cold weather other than warming up the engine good before you go romping on it.

Colder means more air. Hot air expands! Meaning cooler = more air in the combustion chamber.

Same concept with NO2. Stuffs a **** ton of more air into the same chamber.

Winter advice from the Floridian! I just need something very reliable. It'll always be my daily and it'll be the primary winter vehicle. After last year's week of -18 (as the high) trying to cover all my bases. Also, My girlfriends job will require her to be at the hospital at a moments notice at any time day or night. So..it probably won't get the proper warmup and will get driven Nicolas Cage on occasion.

Make sure you have a big enough maf sensor. Heard some horror stories of engines going bang when they pegged out the maf sensor because the air was so dense.
