Going forged there is nothing but an improvement. As far as the charger, you can expect to spend 2-3K by the time you assemble all the components. Maybe you get lucky & find a complete swap for less, but that's not probable. Take your time & look for deals & package deals. I have a complete swap component list created by [MENTION=52877]4x4dave[/MENTION] that I'd be glad to forward to you if you send your email. Edit: a stock eaton M112 with stock pullies makes 8#s of boost. You'd be perfectly fine. And you'll need a flash tuner with custom tunes.

Seemed like the best place to ask this questions sense yall know allot more then I do about these motors, I have the 5,4l and noticed a slight tick coming from the catalytic converter off the passenger side manifold, the one at a bend, nothing on the top side or from around the engine bay so I'm stumped, checked about every bolt i could and they all seem to be tight, It literally sounds like the actual converter, do these things make that noise when they go bad? Thanks guy, and no rough idle, and temps are all good if that helps.

You sure you don't have a small exhaust leak? I guess if the packing is broken & loose it could sound like a tick. Is it a steady frequency? Usually when they go bad they get really hot and clog causing drive ability issues & loss of power.

Thanks for the tag Charlie. I actually just bought a 4# lower and hub off ferg last week. I don't have the lightning balancer, so I can't use the caged. Truck was balanced with the balancer on it, and don't want to switch it out.
