Fore's hat is nice but damn is it pricey. I'll be building my own. I have access to a 6-axis table top CNC and Lathe. I'll be going with a Walbro F900000267..

Haha if only I had time. Looking forward to seeing this!!

If anyone needs a bunge or anything welded on a hat let me know. I didn't want to use a Teflon washer and union fitting so I just welded a -8an on both sides.

All you would need is a couple -6an weld in bunges for the 3/8 line and a -6an to 3/8 barb.

I've been doing more and more research. I would love to just stick twin GSS342's in there but they wont handle hand the E85 long term. But I did notice Duestchwerks makes one for for E85 as a OE replacement in 265lph for the lightning..

For those of you guys that are in the same boat as I am an going with boost. I strongly reccomend picking up a Boost A Spark along with running WeaponX EFX2 Coils. I recently upgraded from the street coils to the stage 2 coils during my ecent plug change and it made a huge difference in the way the truck runs.

Durrability? Pshhhh. Never mind. Its not like stock coils last more than a few years anyways!

Been talking to them because of going boosted and have seen guys run them for 30k-40k without a issue. I ran the street coils for over 60k. Just recently upgraded to the EFX2's. Which are the stage 2 versions. More geared towards performance. Even the street versions with a boost a spark will prevent spark blowouts. Its something for ya'll to look into.

I know they're bad *** coils, but I'd have a tough time shelling out $439 for a set! And unless you can get your hands on a set of boots from the late (passed away) guy on LR, your tubes are susceptible to liquid filling them. But for the peace of mind & performance, I can't argue.

I'm not even going to bother looking for replacement parts ignition wise for lightnings. Most will be upgraded or changed. I'll have all Factory parts and lines from a 03 lightning in over the next couple of weeks. I get to have making it all work.. Most wont be factory to begin with.
