Do I need to worry about pegging a stock MAF with a 6# lower & a stock upper? Debating whether to get a SCT ba2400 or ba2600 or a stock L MAF.
It's going to be close. Most people will advise that you get a bigger MAF at that point. Not worth risking your engine over. Id get the sctba2600. I ended up doing a stock one first and then swapped to SCT MAF after my 6# lower. It's alot of dyno time having to re-tune from the stock L maf to an SCT one. That gets expensive too. You'll really be saving yourself money down the road.
Dave, I did have torsion keys & 2" blocks on it at that time too.
Thanks man. That should def work, I'm on stock keys with 285/70/17's. I ended up buying it on sale for 150$. It worked great for scooping up the Camry engine. Folds up real nice too.

If you look online they have a coupon code for that price. I just gave it to them and it went from 189 to 150 lol. Just good timing on the sale i guess. But yeah i got it in store

Found my MAF. SCTba2800 for $175 shipped. Will have it early next week. Also my man Z7What turned me on to his friends deal. Getting the I/C res & hard lines, stock air box & elbow and a stock MAF, stock H/E from him. Figured I'll sell the stock MAF for a little return.
