If you get the 900hp stuff from MMR (modular motorsports racing) you will get knock off manley rods (made by MMR) with 3/8 8740 rod bolts. I mean they are H beams and would handly about anything, but if I am paying 2500 bucks for pistons and rods, I want the best (within means).

Ok thanks I plan on them being my go-to place. Haven't heard a bad review about them

Good to know about modmax. I may get a shortblock from them. MMR is ****, so is MHP (from what i hear). Promar is a crap shoot (from what i hear), although their fully spec'd lightning longblock looks legit. The other 2 guys JDM and JLP are way to damn expensive!

ibd2328 that's going to be a wicked head setup. Can't wait till you get it put together!

Yea all the trick flow stuff has cam bearings, so no chance of messing up a 3000 buck set of heads due to journal damage.

Modmax is awesome to work with. JLP has a lady that takes your order and you can never get a guy or tech on the line to talk too. They are way too pricy and its all because of track and times (their speciality).

I will be dragging with them in august, so hopefully my Awd will beat a few of the stock and lightly moded L's

I'll be hitting the track soon too, stock lightnings run about 14.9 at my elevation. I was doing a 15.4 before all my goodies, so hopefully i can pickup some time and embarrass the SVT guys. I'm also going to remove a bit of weight too like my spare tire, tailgate, bedmat etc...
