I know one has received a $10,000 fine for removing emissions equipment. I'm going to try to trailer it in and say its just a race truck that doesn't see street use. Seems legit right?

Yeah a lot of places will then work on it. Then they can say they were covered.

Did you ask them over the phone? Or actually go in and ask? I've got a guy that will do it but if you ask him over the phone he will tell you to get lost. And you have to pay cash and no receipts or paperwork. And trailering it will def work.

Nice and he charges a little more because he's the only guy in town that will do it. But he does quality work.

I had him do three of my four f150's with a 5.4. Never had one leak. My exhaust was always tight, never rattled. He is top notch. He also installed 02 spacers when cats were cut off to keep the engine light off. Those always performed flawlessly. Only a couple bucks for each one too. I do not recommend cutting all the cats off. Leave two on. Trucks are ridiculously loud with all removed.

Not if you have some of those sweet things that muffle the noise.

Mine are all removed.. two mufflers though.. and a straight piped truck with cats is more obnoxious by far.
