Default Driver side power window

Quick question. My driver side window is not working. I hear the relay click but I can still roll my passenger side window down with no problems. Could the motor be burned out?

Probably. You can test for power at the motor with the switch depressed to be sure everything else is working properly. If no power, switch or relay may be bad. If power is there,I would replace the motor & regulator.

Try to hold the relay in with your finger. Push in on it while trying to roll down the window and see if it works. My fuse box was notorious for that.

I tried that and still nothing. I did notice that the clicking only happens when I try to roll the window down. I put a test light on the leads into the switch and only 2 of them have power. When I tried the passenger one, 4 of them had power. Any ideas?

Did you try having someone push the window down when you throw the switch? My '98 didn't want to move, but the relay clicked when I hit the switch. I found that if the window had the slightest resistance at the beginning of the cycle, it would not move, and the relay would click regardless. I DID move the window then the switch was thrown, and sprayed lithium grease into the tracks and on the motor (where I could reach through the soundproofing) - and now it works!

Unfortunately, I tried it and it still doesn't budge. Did you just try to move it down by your hands?

I can tell you which ones need power and which ones don't.
