Ding, Ding, Ding, You said it there... I had to teach myself, because I couldn't afford to pay other people to work on my stuff. Shop costs these days cost more than the part itself, rediculas...

I started to put Cant Quit on the back burner from being burned out on it, but yesterday I had a phone call from someone I knew from way back when I built the truck the first time... Well he wants to buy the front axle out from under the ole gal. So.....

That plus income tax looks like I'll be ordering coilovers, if F.O.A. has there shop back up and going from the fire they had. Well they actually moved shops and ordered a few machines to get back building shocks. I'm back in the mood for the time being haha

Guys I do have leads out there right now though, just waiting to here back from them.

* Madenenterprise 20% underdrive waterpump pulley
* Adams Offroad raised rockwell hi steer arm
* Arp main studs
* Metco idler arm for more belt wrap around the S/C it won't slip to loose boost, w/ a Lightning Force Performance 90 mm Idler

so we'll see whats up here in the next few weeks, I'll keep ya'll updated as much as possible. It's just basically in the waiting phase of things.

I have a custom 3" spacer in the works aswell to raise my water neck to clear the fuel rails for my rear mount radiator. Waiting to hear back from the fabricator on this to see if, their interested in making one for me. Wonder what thats gonna cost sighhhhh.. look at the 3" body puck...

Thanks, and yeah never thought I was going to have to make this many things...

Custom parts are exspensive, 1 off parts are even more.

I have the MadEnt. 20% underdrive water pump pulley heading this way.

I've axed the aux. idler and pulley from the list, decided against it.

Heard back on the Adams Offroad 1/2" raised rockwell steering arm, now I'm waiting on a shipping quote

Also finally broke down and purchased 8 of these XMR16 RH thread rodends, now I need to get 8 LH thread and I'll have all the rodends for my 4-link...

Do you have a rear block? Just food for the thought I had horrid axle roll, and I actually flipped the block backwards from what you would actually do. I had alot of lift though.

Welp Harley. I find myself in your situation with my newly acquired highboy.

I keep finding more and more rust on the body. So I've decided it will be much easier to turn it into a bogger than restore like I originally hoped. Nothing on your scale though. But weight is a HUGE factor, like you.

I'll be losing the bed, doors, back glass, any bolt I don't need, any wires I don't need, anything I won't want is coming out.

Everything electrical besides engine necessities is coming out. Might rip the dash out, make some sort of simple, custom aluminum dash, with a tach, volt, temp gauge, AND handles, taking the bench out, getting some simple summit seats with 4-points. Fully caged rear. Radiator relocate. Take the gas tank out of the cab, and put it right behind the cab. Aluminum shields on sides and bottom, double roll bar around the back of the cab.

I want to make it so I can get stupid, and if I roll it, don't total it.

Goal. Be able to trailer it with my red one while also having a four wheeler in the back of the red one.
I figure with an AAL and/or f250 springs I'll be fine and get just the right amount of lift I want.

So I'll most likely be coming to you for ideas. I'm only 18 but it's gonna be one hell of a ride.

A lot of that is a waste man. A Sheetmetal dash is the worst. They look horrible and only save maybe 20 pounds. You'll want to keep doors and windows too and try and have cold ac. At least that's my opinion. I know you want a light bogger but some things just aren't worth it

I'm gonna be taking it off my trailer, running in the Boggs all day, or until I wanna go ride the four wheeler. Go back to the camp site. And haul it home. Where it'll sit until the next time.

Not sheet metal dash. Aluminum. I'm trying to Get rid of wieght and mud traps. Where I can't get to it.

And I don't even use AC in my good truck unless I'm wearing a suit one or two times a year for some special event. That's literally the only time. When I'm dressed up and can't sweat at all. Other than that. It's windows down.

Not to mention the bed is completely rusted out. The doors are rusted out. The mirrors are barely attached because of rust. Floorboards are starting to get holy.
