*Cant Quit* build thread

That's my main goal for all the drastic measures. I think I'll be pretty good though. If nothing else I'll get some super small roller tires. And let my boss haul the beastly tires with his camper and the other four wheelers. He's got a super duty. That'll save a good 3-400 pounds.
Literally everything I don't want or that will cause a problem in the mud is going bye bye. Still debating if I want to keep the hood or try to fab up a poly one. It's really heavy. I'm losing the grill and every stock light, wiring for the lights.
And I'll probably put a few aftermarket lights on their own fuses and power sources. Just simplicity.
Gas tank moved behind the cab. Radiator above it. With a double roll bar over the top of that. With 2 bars going to the back of the frame. Idk what I'm doing for the front yet. All the bumpers are going as well.

All that sounds good, but your gonna get some kinda muddy. My trucks still
Going to look likeel a stock truck and not gutted. But a lot of money's going into it for it to be as wild as its going to be to look like that. Being light is a huge part of the game. Lighter it is, less hp you have to have.
Your basically going to build a buggy sounds like. Nothing's wrong with that I'd just probably change a few things. Like runn your bed sides to still resemble your truck. You could even bob it and take like a foot out of the front if it and the frame. Get a tailgat net, and also run a hood. A lot of mud and sprays gonna go straight up and fall down on your motor, and that can be win or lose in a mud run if something gets wet. Remember if you can't setup a kickas rearend (suspension wise) your gonna want to leave some kind of weight back there to help grab the mother earth and not float. Reason ill be able to get away with no weight in the rear is because ill have the 4-link and propely distributed weight, and 500+hp. Gas tank, radiator and possible battery if you can swing it, it will also pull the weight off the front which you want to do.
Your gonna have a lot of fun with it, older you get the better and bigger the toys get.
Fell free to ask whatever I'm down, and I've been in the game for alittle bit, I'll try my best to give you pointers and tips.
Oh and the adams offroad high steer arm is being shipped out tomorrow. Saweet

I guess when I get things like this in the mail it makes me feel better for being so broke!
But it did come in right on the correct day Couldn't have gotten a better birthday present for myself if I tried. Sold my kidney for these
now just to sell a lung for the LH threaded rodends. There pretty small huh... LMAO
Also had a 6an Stainless steel braided line for the Axle vent tube show up
Now for the high steer arm and w/p u/d pulley to show it's face.

Thanks
Thats 3 lol, naw man... I take that as a complement.
I'm 26, and just researched the hell out of what I had and needed to make it work... and whats been used to make things bada*s
I've always had a can do personality, started tearing down and rebuilding 4-wheeler and jet ski's when I was younger. Had 10 from the 5th grade to the 9th when I sold them all off for my 1st truck. I would buy, build it up and sell of for the next fad.
10th grade year, bought and built a '79 chevy on 44's with 4.88 gears and detroit lockers with a crate 350.
bought a 99 400ex put a 440 thump racing big bore kit in it, and now i'm in the 11th grade,
bought a '00 Banshee summer before SR year, ended up selling the chevy, because i picked up CANT QUIT, and would have started going into debt. Sold a yamaha jetski, so I had 2 4-wheelers and my maroon f150(cant Quit) heres a pic of us heading to the dunes during on of my sr. trips
Torn down, for some go fast drag parts, Banshee 370 stroker kit, coolhead, fmf sst's and a +8 swingarm, nothing compared to my friends but I could wax raptors in 5th gear
Booker the closest on the Banshee to us, bought Blue Foot from me.
Fast forward to my sr. year and I sold the 2 4wheelers and got sad I didn't have any toys anymore, so thats when I built my big truck on 49's as in the first post of this thread.
thats pretty much my younger years, I moved off to college, started bartended got bad off on things I wouldn't have NEVER thought I would have done and didn't touch anything truck related for 4 years. Something that blows my mind as much as I loved it, I got cought up in a Rock star life style. Hence why I put the truck out on the land and payed off the Harley. So I moved to take back control of the life and I'm back to doing what I love, getting my truck ready to bust it open.
And like I said earlier, haveing a likable, can do personality, ended up becoming my weakness and downfall. it was hard but I'm back, to let others live through my fun.
I'll get some awesome video's when I have this thing together. I'm hoping for this summer time to atleast have it looking like a truck again.

I ran 1 1/4 Heims on my prerunner, very strong, very effective for long travel, there life span compared to there cost kinda sucks but you have to pay to play. When the time comes to replace try ruffstuffspecialties.com, they have good prices and great service, lots of fab parts too

If so I'm trying to dummy it down (no offense to anyone) sometimes I talk over heads and don't mean too, I just take it everyone else knows what I know, and thats not the case. But I'll keep the info coming, i feel like people are enjoying it.

I wont replace, they cost too much... they'll have some crazy slop and falling apart before that happens. Yeah I know of ruffstuf, I have a few brackets from him. But his price on the Heims are more than what I want to spend. I'll be going with Barns 4wd more than likely when I get the LH thread.
Thanks though
the one good thing I noticed is they dont fail all at once its usually 1 every few months, so the cost of replacing them comes one at a time
