Default *Cant Quit* build thread

Whats up guys, figured I'd start a new thread, the old one, has lost tons of pics due to me closing or deleting several of them.

But here it is, didn't feel like going through and adding them all back, but if you guys have any specifics that ya'll would like pics of... Just let me know

https://www.f150forum.com/f2/wow-50980/

Just some back ground this is Thanksgiving 2002

And a year after having it and selling my '79 chevy on 44's I was sad I didn't have a mud truck anymore. this was in 2003 time

After '04 I put it down on the land and it sat until '08, and I decided to get back in the mud after I purchased and payed off my 2003 Harley F-150.

In '09 I started to tare it down and started purchasing parts for it. 2 years later, and about 3 times over what I had budgeted my spend I'm getting ready to put it back together.

Heres the front end, this was last weekend. I took the power brakes off to run some Dual Wilwood aluminum masters, pedal, calipers. also wilwood rotors. The whole brake system will be Wilwood.

I've Taken all the brackets off the frame that I'm not using. Getting rid of any weight thats not needed. Projected goal is 5,500lbs with the 53" Tires

For ease of access and to close up the hole from when I built a Mall Crawler back in '03. I had 8-10" speakers in the bed, but this build I'm gonna have a go truck not a show truck. Ponds, sloughs, and 8' mud pits and systems don't mix well

I'm using an old tool box I had to keep the weight down, I was one slicer wheels short, or I would have had it bolted back up. The passenger and driver floor boards are also getting cut out.

Thanks, thats the plans. I'm looking to have 550 rwhp boost only with a built long block, and 100 shot on top... So for sure I'm looking at 600hp even if the tansfercase and the steep gears (6.72's) in the axles try to rob my HP from me.

Iv'e gotten all the gaskets for the motor, the only things that are still needed are

*Piston rings
*rod bearings
*Arp Main studs

Those are coming up in the next month, and I plan on having the motor togther by my Birthday in feb.

I did get some Cogs for the Supercharger, there from an '03-'04 cobra and it took over a year to find. I bought the DMR 35t upper at a different time and I'm having a Friend In North Carolina making me an 103t and 120t lower.

This is more of what it's going to look like, on the truck, remind you this is the s/c belt, not the engine accessory belt

The 35t upper and 84t lower thats in this picture will put my truck around 8lbs of boost, which really isn't anything as frre flowing and efficiant my trucks going to be... probably in the 450-475hp mark

Thats the reason for the KILL pulleys, the Pulley on the right (Boost Freak Cog 120t) will put me in the 550hp mark. Oh and guys what these 2 pulleys cost I could have bought a set of 20" or 22" tires for.

There still not in my hands, they were just picked up from the machine shop and have shipped out yet, he took them back to get lightened, then took them to get balanced, so there finally ready, wahoo i'm excited. No wasted HP or slipping belts here when ever the crank goes under the water or mud

These are my "roller" set of wheels, and if I ever play tug-o-war

I'll have some 44" tires tsl's or Boggers what ever I find a good deal on. I'd rather have boggers so I can cut them.

There 15x14" MRW Marsh Racing Wheels with 3.5" back spacing, Rockwell pattern

My other set are USA 6x6 that have now gone out of business for Sh*tty cutomer service in '09, there Double beadlocks and I plan on running no more than 4lbs of pressure in them for a nastier cleat. there 20x11" and there reversible, with either 4" or 6" back spacing, rockwell pattern

They will be my street set for the 53" michelin XZL's

I got the 53's up and off the ground to get them ready to be demounted, man these things are heavy at 475-500lbs ea.

Also in the works, are some 23.1x26 r2's (64" tractor tires) for the Mud Pits and competitions
