Android Double din
Check out this storage. Two flash drives are the 64GB variety and the other two are 128GB flash drives, and the SD card a 128GB. I had to try them to see what the head would support and the 128's works fine. I have just over 500GB of attached memory sticks and TF/SD card. The hub system I added controls the flash drives, so it is fairly clean, and easy to modify or change sticks. I turned one of the 64's into a music only stick, and it currently has 13,468 songs on it. I did figure out one thing, all this fits under the right side top cover, and changes can be done easily there. Much easier than hiding it behind the head and having trouble getting to the hubs. It's much better this way. The GPS antenna goes there also.
Tomorrow, I'll try my mouse/keyboard combo and see if it works correctly. We'll see. I'm sure it will work, but if not, I'm not going to be too upset.
Zebracakes: I like the head you bought. I looked at that one when I got mine, and it was 269 at the lowest price, and since I wasn't sure I was going that way, went with the 200 head. Where is your antenna for the WiFi? I have an antenna out the back of mine by the 2 RCA cables. Your head's picture shows the rear wiring that mine was suppose to come with, using the composite plug quick plug. Mine went away from the external wires and went to the RCA jacks in a mod of 9 plugs together on the back. I wanted the wires like you had for the back clearance, but it was not to be, I'm finding that I'm happy with my purchase, but having it to do over, for the 229 yours is now, I'd probably go with the KitKat (yours). Here's my pic of the back of mine now.

I was going to do exactly that (run a hub into the glove box) but decided that since I had to be under the right upper cover to place the GPS antenna and mount hub one, that I'd put it all there. I have a second hub, that I showed in a picture, that could go into the glove box (Mass hub) and be used with velcro tape to hold it solid. I may still put the second hub there, and leave the original hub under the top cover. That way I could still reach a hub, for convienence, and still have my hardware hidden inisde the top and hopefully keep it safe and out of thieves hands.
Did you notice on the back on my head, that there is a spot already for a fan to be installed. Your head shows the place, but isn't cut out to accept air thru it. I still think I like your wiring system (right rear side) better than the 9 RCA plugs in a group. At least you can move your wiring around to fit the back of the dash, where as the RCA's hardwired in the back, make 90 degree wires hard to come up with and it messes with the RCA plugs on the wires ends (stretches). Your design is what I wish this radio still had, but only for my F150. On the Mustang and Fusion, this is perfect. Lots of rear room so it doesn't matter. Just our older F150's. lol
If you hadn't circled the antenna, I doubt that I would of seen it. lol. How well does it work? Mine has the 4 inch sleeve around the antenna and it sets out about 6 inches from the back, so it can be pointed or set wherever angle it works best. Does your antenna give you a good distance to hook up on WiFi or just say 30 feet or so? I was able to make my head read over 75 feet away from my router, outside in the car vs the far back side of the house. Even with the metal roof, I was able to access the house WiFi from my driveway. This makes it quite nice for updates and such now. I really think that I've come up with what I've always wanted. A basic computer in a car. You gotta love this time of history we are in lol

Zebracakes: What are the brown plug and gray plug used for by the antenna on your radio? Also could you email me a copy of your operators manual or the link for it? I'm finding all sorts of different ones, but I'm trying to understand the wiring on the right side. I know it is the same as the RCA's on mine, but the mounting plugs are so different. Thanks in advance, in case you can supply the info or link.

Since these heads are just a bit smaller than the opening of the radio bezel, I tried to mount a face plate retainer, without much success. It is just a bit smaller than the radio. After thinking a bit, I decided to butcher the retainer, and just use the side arms. That would give it something to at least place some resistance to theft. I was going to make the plate go around, and even added some plastic on each side, but didn't like the result. I used Lazer Bond (3 second ultraviolet light seen on tv) and it worked well. The glue worked superbly. It made a nice frame, but I couldn't square it up nice enough. At least I know now that the glue works well on weird plastics.
Zebracakes: Thanks for checking. The aux was the one I was wondering about myself. I couldn't find any information on them either. I still don't know what way they go. lol. My manual shows a lot about the android system and making it perform how you want, but nothing about the wiring that shows anything.
Here's a couple pictures of the way I set up my head for the F150(gen10) and another two for the Mustang/Fusion/F150(gen11). Both harnesses are made up for each head. The last two pictures is the Fusion/Mustang/F150(gen11) head with the mount attached to it. I modified this mount and used the Lazer Bond to hold the trim to the side brackets. Worked really well. I'm starting to like this stuff for quick repairs.

I fought this oversized unit today, and with a lot of persuasion, was able to finally get it in. I highly doubt it will ever come out again, lol, but it did finally find a place to fit right. I had to take the heat shrink overlay I had on the wiring off, and just use tape. It wasn't flexible enough for the tight spots, so I just redid my wrap. This head is at least 2-3mm bigger than the average standard DD head, and just a bit wider, and thicker all the way around. Now that it is in, I'll try it around and post some pictures of it while the truck is in operation. After a couple bloody knuckles, I'm happy with the final result and look.

I see a small indentation on the back upper top, where i pushed in the head real hard. Damn that is some soft material. lol. It works really well, so i'm quite happy with the outcome of using this Android system. I've been able to add front and rear cameras, so this really is the way to go.
