Thought about ordering one of them myself. Figured I'd throw one of them a low offer. Like way low. Just in case it wasn't worth a damn.

I think it was well worth the money I paid for it.
The one thing I should say is that if you want a radio to listen to radio stations, this is not the radio for you. The radio tuner, and app leave a little to be desired, since the app was designed specifically for the device. Meaning that it's the only radio app designed to work with a tuner. You can not download a radio app from the play store.

Well, I have an older one. But it's a POS. I just carved my dash out after reading this on a search for double din kit. Good post btw. I listen to a lotta Pandora or Apple Music through Bluetooth. I just want a new one.

I usually tether my phone and listen to pandora or spotify. When friends are in my truck they like to watch youtube and twitch, it's also great for torque.

Thanks for the link ZC. I have found that the radio, in this particular head, is quite good. It doesn't actually have the exact AM station numbers, but if you've even researched this, they are actually correct for the USA market. The FM side is quite good. Your head may have a different radio build, since it is in 4.4.4. This is one of the reason's I held out on updating to 4.4.4 from 4.2.2.

I got so sick yesterday, that I didn't have the energy to do the update. I was in bed all day and still am. I caught the flu from my Grandkids, and now I'm suffering for it. I'll let you know if the radio changes any with the upgrade.

I may have skipped past it, but did you post a link to actually purchase the unit? I'd like to ditch my outdated Kenwood and go this route.

I'm sorry, but I didn't even think about listing the unit. The one I bought is fully touch. The volume is also touch, so their are no ***** anywhere. The one that Zebracakes bought is a different, but basically same radio. He has the **** for volume. I wanted a smooth face, so I went this way.

Here is the link to my unit. Remember, I had a problem at first with a bad head, (which turned out to be bad factory manufactured plug itself). They sent me another and this one worked out of the box.

Here are some pictures of the Lollipop screen. I did a lot of checking and following links and decided, since the only real reason I was changing systems was because of the screens and the icons, etc. I decided I liked the Lollipop screens better than KitKat, I decided to go that way.

I didn't want to root my system, and wouldn't have to using 4.4.4. I decided I would use an app to get what I want, without running into the possiblitiy of causing a meltdown have some quirk hang up the screens. I went with a free app, that cures exactly my icon problem. This is ideal, and helps keep the system stable. I had one android system go to hell when it got rooted, and was the hardest thing to get back up and running without any problems. I chickened out and went with an app.
