Android Double din
Currently, one is on the top of my license plate in the rear, and the front one is a regular dash camera with USB wire going to the USB hub. As far as mounting, it just wherever you want to mount them. I am considering adding an interior camera in the right rear corner of my SCab. I want to have a remote camera for safety from whatever is necessary. This is where I'll use a wireless system, so I don't have a bunch of wires in the corner. I can hide all the wireless stuff. It would be there, in case I was pulled over, and not one person would know any better. The way its' getting, that may not be a bad idea. So many car thefts and carjackings lately. I hope I'm wrong about that, but what is in the paper all the time, makes one a bit skeptical.
I had a choice of a wireless camera in the rear or a hardwired license model, and went with the license plate one. I ran the power wire to the back up light wire, grounded the second and ran the RCA cable to the rear of the cab and in thru one of the floor plugs. It went to the back of the head withou any problem, running under the carpet and up. The front camera wires is run into the right side dash opening cover (top panel) and into my USB hub. It is all quite straight forward. It is basically running wires to power, ground and then the yellow ended RCA wire to the back of the head (rear camera) and to the 4 port hub (front camera). What is good about the front is that is charges the camera also, making it much better that way.
The front camera is fully self contained with a 2.5 LCD screen, but when hooked to the radio head, works on the screen of the radio and the camera, together. It's kind of neat how all this stuff hooks together and works, but that is the best part of using an Android system. The easy of compatability and the amount of apps that can be purchased (free mostly) and give you exactly the experience you are looking for out of your system. Plug and play is a super asset.
I've got at least 4 different cameras to choose from, but have pretty much decided to stay the way I have it right now. I'll use my other, 2 screw mounting cameras and use on in my key hole of my 07 Mustang, for a backup camera, and mount another in the grille area for a front camera. Both will be simple 2 screw mounts, with hardwire cables to the radio.

Does anyone know of a Android head unit that is actually a decent radio with good reception, easy to use radio app and decent onboard amplifiers?
I'd love to get the features of an Android head unit but not at a cost of the most important part of a car stereo...the freaking car stereo part!

I downloaded a different amp app, just so I had more control of single ranges. The app that comes with the head, doesn't work as well as it should, that is why I went with another app. Luckily there are plenty of different, FREE, apps that allow you to customize your system.
Also, the GPS app could be better. I added CoPillot to put a nicer designed map on the screen. Again, many apps to choose from, so that makes this an easy system to adapt to your own wishes and needs. You can also put a small amp behind this head, without any problems. I have a KT-445U from Alpne, that I have wired as a plug and play add on. It really improves the overall sound and volume, although the head has enough power to make it quite a good buy for the cost.

ZebraCakes...can you post a picture of your radio face design? I know that there are at least 3 different radio interfaces used, so it is possible that we have different apps. You are using 4.4.4 whereas I'm using 4.2.2. It could be as simple as a different interface.
