Default 04' Heritage programmer?????

Someone out there has got to be running one. I cant find one that works. I tried the edge evo cs and it's a no go. I have seen some sites claiming that the bully dog works and others saying no.

It's great! I gained at least 2.5 mpg! I have the 5.4. But my programmer works for 99 - 03 f150 and 04 heritage with the 5.4 or 4.6! Your truck is the same as an 03 model year! So when searching for parts look for 03. You'll have better luck.

I have an '04 Heritage with the 4.6 and am running a Superchips programmer that suits me just fine. I also have headers and duel exhaust exiting out the side with a direct feed CAI. I am told by the local truck accessory place that if I were to run premium fuel and set the programmer on performance that with my set up I could gain over 35 more HP or so but without a dyno run, it would be impossible to tell. My truck also has the newer '04 engine (it was built in July 04) if that makes a difference, but I doubt it....

I have driven the exact same truck only stock and mine would definately kick it's butt and the owner agrees.

No, I don't mind-it is an 1865 Flash paq model and is easier than heck to program and use...I like it....

I can go onto the Superchips site and download new programs to update my system as well...
