I actually bought two of the edges. one direct from edge. The problem i believe was that when edge went to the all in one unit the new cs programmer, it is used on many vehicles and relies on the vin to decipher which vehicle its on. my vin would state that its an 04 being the 3 valve motor when in reality its basically an 03. I was very very frustrated. buttttt Im gonna try the superchips and hope for the best i suppose. plus its on sale right now

...according to the dealership my engine is the 3 valve '04 engine-they were as perplexed as I was as to how it got in there but the code and vin all match. I get all my body stuff as an '03 and my engine stuff as an '04...it drives the local parts place nuts as they always try to correct my orders...

AZFX4-they sold the Heritage alongside the new body style in '04. My truck was made in July '04 and the new body style came out in Nov '03 but it is a left over and frankly, I am a little disappointed...I figured they would have made them all Lariat level and put all the shiny parts on the Heritage...

I do have lots of options-no leather, sunroof or adjustable pedals but everything else..

I always kind of wondered why my tranny cooler was so much larger than my friend's '03..but I have a different engine than him so maybe they threw in more options on mine?

I think you can do custom tunes...when I log onto the site and upgrade my tuner, sometimes a block comes up for me too purchase a tune...

I would check on this if I were you. I know I have 5 settings and can change my rev limiter, tire size, shift points amongst others...

BTW, the 2 valve 4.6s are pretty darned good as well. My neighbour has a pile of miiles on his with no problems to report and he is not OCD with maiintenance like I am...
