Remote with Flip Key
They offered to send me a replacement, cool. But, they want me to send the key back to them, that is already cut for my truck. I told them I will not send a cut key for my truck anywhere and to provide me with a refund. I applaud them for offering a replacement for their defective product, it pissed me off to no end they want me to return a copy of my truck key to them that can unlock my truck door.

How did you progrm the fob first, when you have to turn it in the ignition to program it. It says in the directions it has to be cut first. I got mine today and programming the door lock buttons was easy, but after taking it and having it cut at a locksmith and following the 3 key procedure it wont start the truck. Mine is from yourkeylessremote.com. I put a call in to them, so I hope to hear something tomorrow. Also does anyone have the issue were the actuall remote part hits the rubber around the key hole and makes it tough to turn.
For the money I paid, I wish I wouldn't, between email, getting the key cut, and trying to program it, this is ridiculous. I took the whole thing apart, there is nothing inside of it for the pats system. It's the key and the fob, nothing else.

I got mine from yourkeylessremote and after opening a case with ebay (the seller never responded after 3 days) and they are sending me a replacement due to the fact they had a batch (duh) that didn't have the transponder. I'm gonna switch out my cut key with the blank when I send it back. Keep y'all posted...

So let me get this straight, you guys all ordered keys that are missing the chip for the key to start the truck?
Is the seller shipping you just the chip or a whole new key?
I might still get one of these units if this issue is successfully resolved for everybody.
Also I have the Auto Mate remote start alarm system that also locks and unlocks my truck... Will the same procedure to program the remote work with these units?
Will I be able to remote start my truck and unlock the doors with this remote, considering I'm not using the factory keyless remotes?
